PRECISION AIR RIFLE AND PISTOL
The range was built with the intention of developing shooters interested and participating in Precision Air Gun Competition; both with the Air Rifle and Air Pistol. Precision Airgun Competition guns are some of the most accurate guns made and are a challenge to master. Both rifle and pistol are shot at 10 meters with the rifle x ring being a pinpoint.
There are limitations to the types of air guns that can be used on this range, for example pellet velocity cannot exceed 600 fps. This does eliminate lots of commercial sporter style rifles whose pellet velocities can exceed 1100 fps. Most air pistols however do not generate enough velocity to exceed that limitation. We will have both Precision Air Rifles and Pistols on hand for club members to try.
Precision Air Rifle and Air Pistol are often viewed as the most challenging of the shooting sports. Both are a lot of fun and will certainly hone your shooting skills for any other discipline you participate in.
